Good, Bad, Ugly

Who doesn't like the number "three"?

...the Three Stooges

...The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly (c'mon, classic Clint Eastwood)

...three sheets to the wind

...3-piece suits (I wonder if they'll ever make a comeback)

...On your mark, get set, GO!

...rock, paper, scissors

...a great BLT

But for the business owner and Internet marketer, there are three threats that can cause your cash flow some serious damage:

#1 Competition. Most marketers only think about this one. You already know who your biggest competitors are so 'nuff said. Moving on.

#2 Commoditization. Yesterday's email was all about this - you can check it out here. It's important.

If the struggle to stay one-step ahead of your competitors or the fight against dropping your prices to stay alive isn't enough...

...it gets worse.

What about the fight for your prospect's attention?

Like games.

And cat videos. Or that wedding disaster video that just went viral.

"And gotta make sure to add that thing everybody's talking about to my Amazon Wishlist."

"And OMG. Who just got kicked off of Paradise?" (I hate reality tv - but you already know that.)

"And how's my stock doing?"

"And Trump just Tweeted what?"

"And this article says I can find out my risk for a heart attack in 2 minutes!"

And whatever else people like to do online.

They're all distractions.

And that's the third threat I was talkin' about.

The biggest one of all...and nobody realizes it.

And that's a bummer because your message, your offer, your proposition?

This is what you're up against.

The Kardashians, POTUS's Tweets, and Fantasy Football.

Everything that's a click away is what your would-be buyers would rather be doing.

Let that sink in for a minute.

I mean, geez.

If competition and commoditization don't get ya...distractions will.
