The rule of one.
No, not as in Star Wars Sith doctrine replaced by the Rule of Two and Darth Krayt or Darth Sidious or Darth Vader.
But the rule whereby you retain your sanity as a business owner.
The rule that simplifies your marketing.
...one phone call made each day.
...one Facebook ad running at a time.
...one email sent every weekday.
...one offer presented.
...one price posted.
...one teaser video on one landing page.
That's everything you need when starting a new business or re-invigorating an existing one.
Why abandon the "more is better" mindset that can mess with the best of us?
The more moving parts there are...
The more steps needing finished before pulling the go-trigger...
The less likely the "thing" you're sure will be a huge success will actually launch.
It's just the way it is.
So unless you have a crack team of people writing (good) copy, designing landing pages, creating ads, building automation campaigns -- all with strategic planning behind it.
You'e probably figuring this all out by yourself.
And by nature, you can only do one thing at a time well.
Or several not-so-well.
There's not a lot of middle-of-the-road here.
We've all gotten into the weeds at times, gotten messy at marketing.
I'm just as guilty.
Messy marketing looks something like this:
+ Let's all virtually pass around 15 images to see which one gets the most virtual thumbs-up for today's blog post!
+ What don't we create a different landing page for all 20 launch partners... because you know, people love to see their own name in lights and it'll get them more excited to promote!
+ Oh, and how about we create three or four sales pages each with a different price point...and then split up our list alphabetically meticulously on a spreadsheet to see which price pulls best.
+ And ooh...ooh...we can run a poll on Facebook to see which of the four logos made at 99designs.com (because they were cheap) our followers like the most!
It's too much, too fast. Too chaotic. Too sloppy.
Too hard. Too expensive.
So what if you followed the rule of ONE?
KISS.
Or you could let us help you.
I'll be back tomorrow,
